Lynora's of Boca -- A Pleasant Surprise

We wanted to Lynora’s of Boca Raton in the Boca Uptown Shopping Center for some time. We finally made it and it was not as we envisioned it. We had expected a classic Italian Restaurant in both the atmosphere and the food choices. We were pleasantly surprised with the fun environment and the fresh quality of the food.

We started our meal with a margarita pizza. The crust was the best part. Just like my grandmother would make if she was Italian and knew how to cook

For entrees, we had the Pasta Bolognese, the Shrimp, the Veal Milanese and the Gnocchi. After the great pizza, we were unsure if they could follow up with the entrees. Other than the Veal Milanese, everything was really good. The Veal Milanese had a heavy sauce which put a dampener on the dish.

But all in all a very good meal. We loved how fresh the pastas were and most of the dishes were very tasty. On reflection, we may be partial to tomato sauce dishes. We think that you should add this to your Italian rotations.
